Founded in 1976, the branch draws members from Sandy Springs and Dunwoody north to John’s Creek, Milton, Alpharetta, Roswell, Cumming, and surrounding areas.
The best way to determine if you want to join is to find out what we are about. We invite you to attend a monthly meeting. Contact us at email@example.com for further information.
AAUW welcomes and is open to all graduates who hold an associate, baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college, community college, or university. Student affiliation is available only to undergraduates.
Join the North Fulton Branch and get to know professors, nurses, social workers, small business owners, Foreign Service specialists, lawyers and education consultants – a diverse cross-section of the North Fulton area. Our members are united by a commitment to quality education and equity for women and girls in all walks of life.
- Our major fundraiser each year is the week-long AAUW Book Fair held in September in conjunction with the Cobb County and Atlanta AAUW branches. Funds raised from the book sale are earmarked by all three Atlanta area branches to support AAUW activities nationally and locally.
- Monthly branch program topics range from the problem of human trafficking to Girls Who Code to functional medicine.
- A variety of interest groups offer opportunities to grow, learn and make a difference.
- There is also time for fun and fellowship at potlucks, field trips, two book clubs and movie meetups.
Through the North Fulton AAUW, you will connect with like-minded individuals in our community for life-long learning, fellowship, and action. For more information, please visit our Membership Page:
